San Marcos Nudies (NSFW)

Just a quick heads up, there is nudity in this photo set, so if you're not down with that or you're in a place where you'll get fired and/or arrested for checking it out, maybe you should wait a bit...

Some more shots from a shoot that I did with a really incredible human, Piotr (Pedro) Daranowski. This shoot was a lot of fun, and set in the landscape of the impossibly beautiful, Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. I'm really happy that I got to meet this soul, and I'm also really happy that he let me take pictures of his dick! Cause, that's what friends are for, right?

Sample Shots

Here are a couple sample shots from a travel shoot that I did with the always lovely, Pedro. My Polish brother with the magic hands and a taste for greasy hip hop + meditation. It was a little push out of our normal comfort zones, but I think we were both pretty pleased with how it went. This lad is such a pleasure. Until the next time brother, be kind and travel safe.

Lightning Bugs

When it is cloudy at night
the lightning bugs seem to come together
and serve as stand-ins for the stars

Sometimes I think that I like their work
better than the originals
There is a realness
in their performance
that the stars
are sometimes lacking

Dale + Lisa

I stayed in Edmonton for a couple months in November/December this year to work on an illustration contract with N.A.I.T. I wasn't sure where I was going to stay, but word of mouth is a lovely thing. I was lucky enough to be connected with Lisa + Dale. Two beautiful people who offered their home to me for my last month there. It immediately felt right, and I still feel luck that I was able land in their laps. This was a little thank you picture that I made for them when I left.
Much love you two. You are the definition of bee's knees!

San Marcos Shoots

A little peak at some photos I've been working on with a lovely human in San Marcos, Guatemala. Unedited and pretty raw, but excited to see how these ones decide to present themselves. Much love to Audrey, for letting me do weird shit to her body and take pictures of it. Some humans are fantastic things!

Body Folds Acrylic

A few months ago I took some pictures of the body and how it folds. Because the body is incredible. And folds are pretty great too. This is a painting that I made from those photos.

If you'd like to see the initial photos, you can check them out HERE.

Back Bend Serving Platter

I've been trying to figure out a way to make this picture into a painting for awhile now. I found a pretty lovely serving platter a few weeks ago, and thought these two could be pretty good friends. I think that they work well together. I hope that they eventually decide to settle down and share a beautiful life together. Maybe build a little cottage, with a strawberry patch in the back. Have a couple cats. Grow old together. You know, the same things that we all want.

New Digs

I found a place to call home for the next 3 weeks. It's pretty lovey. Here is a partial tour.

I make breakfast to this...

I fall asleep here...

I stare at this for x amount of time...

I make dinner to this...

So, that's pretty nice.

Harcourt House Advertisements

I'm a little late to post these, but here are a couple ads that I made for Harcourt House Artist Run Centre over the last couple weeks. Harcourt House is a fantastic organization that really helps nurture both established and emerging artists in the Edmonton community. I feel very lucky to have ran into these fine folks, and have had the pleasure of working with them on and off for the last 3 years. I've got a lot of love for this place and the people in it. If you're in the Edmonton area, I highly suggest that you dip your toe into their waters.
